Benevento coach Filippo Inzaghi has praised ‘underrated’ Milan and congratulated Stefano Pioli for doing a great job at San Siro.
The 47-year-old former Milan coach, who played for the Diavolo between 2001 and 2012, was asked about Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s impact since his return to the fashion capital.

But Inzaghi, who pointed out that the Swede ‘gives them something extra’, said Milan have a lot of quality in the side.
“I know Ibra well, he makes an impact, but Milan are a strong team,” Inzaghi told Tiki Taka. “He’s extraordinary but Milan were underrated.
“They have [Gianluigi] Donnarumma, who is the best goalkeeper in Europe, they have [Alessio] Romagnoli, who plays for the national team, [Ismael] Bennacer and [Franck] Kessie are excellent players.
“[Hakan] Calhanoglu and [Ante] Rebic are strong, they have signed [Sandro] Tonali, who is one of the best youngsters in Italy.
“Pioli is an excellent coach, it’s clear that Ibra gives you something extra but I would like to congratulate the coach and the club that has done well on the transfer market.
“Like they did with Theo Hernandez, whom few knew about."
