Reports in Italy revealed the Aquile missed eight players in training, as Inzaghi prepared for the Champions League match in Beligum without Ciro Immobile, Luis Alberto, Andreas Pereira, Lucas Leiva, Manuel Lazzari, Danilo Cataldi, Luiz Felipe and Thomas Strakosha.

“Yes, it’s a different evening than the others but we have to play an important match against a team that won the first match, like us,” the coach told Sky Sport Italia.

“We must go beyond the emergency. The main problem is that we aren’t able to rotate, it will be necessary to make a virtue of necessity.

“I will have very few changes, knowing that we played three days ago against Bologna. But this is the situation and we need to move on.”

After having started with a win against Borussia Dortmund, Inzaghi stressed the importance of building on the great performance from the first fixture.

“The responsibilities are always there, and we have to follow up on the excellent first match against Dortmund,” he said.

“It will be a complicated match tomorrow, we must face it in the best possible way.”
