Simone Inzaghi has injury concerns, but asked Lazio to be “courageous” as they visit Dynamo Kiev in the Europa League.

The first leg ended 2-2 at the Stadio Olimpico, so the Biancocelesti need to win in Ukraine or get a score draw by netting at least twice.

“We care a great deal about this game, we know how hard we worked last year to get here.

The first leg ended 2-2 at the Stadio Olimpico, so the Biancocelesti need to win in Ukraine or get a score draw by netting at least twice.

“We care a great deal about this game, we know how hard we worked last year to get here. We won our group and went through to the Round of 16 deservedly,” said the Coach in his Press conference.

“We want to do well tomorrow and continue this journey, because the team is having a positive campaign. The final three months are the most important and we’ll try to be ready.

“This will be out 43rd competitive match of the season and the lads are fired up.”

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is out of action with a muscular problem, while Luis Alberto has skipped training for a couple of days as he is on paternity leave.

“Luis Alberto wanted to be here regardless and I really appreciate that attitude. He is not in the balance with Felipe Anderson, but rather with Alessandro Murgia for a midfield role.

“The first leg confirmed to me that Dynamo Kiev are a very good side with a strong tradition in Europe. They don’t just defend, but also build and attack. We need an important performance, better than we played in Rome.

“We need to be courageous, because we have to score, but also be wary of the counter-attacks.”

Lazio have been increasingly frustrated with the use of VAR in Serie A and Inzaghi won’t deny it.

“I prefer the Europa League, because there is no VAR and I said that six months ago. It’s not that Lazio are complaining about incidents, but rather the incidents that keep going against Lazio.

“I think VAR should be used in the right way.”
