Simone Inzaghi confirmed his status as the King of the Supercoppa Italiana, as this was his fourth edition and he won all of them between Inter and Lazio, while the Nerazzurri match Milan in the all-time standings.

The 46-year-old was on the winning side yet again in this competition, beating Milan 3-0 in Riyadh.

Inzaghi had already won the Supercoppa Italiana last season when Inter needed extra time to get the better of Juventus.

He now equals Fabio Capello and Marcello Lippi as the coaches to have won this competition four times.

That means the Nerazzurri have retained the Supercoppa, winning it both in 2022 and 2023.

It had been a favourite tournament for Inzaghi during his days at Lazio, already lifting the Supercoppa in both 2018 and 2020.

As for Inter, this is their seventh victory in the Supercoppa Italiana, allowing them to equal rivals Milan in the charts.

Both are still some way behind leaders Juventus, who have lifted this trophy on nine occasions.
