Inter are expected to announce Simone Inzaghi as their new coach tomorrow, while Juventus bring back Max Allegri and Luciano Spalletti heads to Napoli.

The last 48 hours have been chaotic in Serie A with coaches chopping and changing throughout the league.

Antonio Conte sparked the merry-go-round by terminating his contract with Inter by mutual consent, including a clause barring him from signing for another Italian club this season.

Allegri had been the first choice for Inter and Napoli, but was already in advanced negotiations for a return to Juventus.

The announcement of Allegri’s comeback two years after his dismissal is expected today, replacing Andrea Pirlo.

With Allegri locked down, Inter turned to Simone Inzaghi, who only last night had verbally agreed to extend his Lazio contract until June 2024.

However, he hadn’t signed anything and his current contract with the Biancocelesti expires on June 30, so Inzaghi is still free to choose his next club.

Multiple sources this evening confirm Inzaghi accepted the Inter proposal for a two-year contract at €4m plus €1m in bonuses per season, approximately double the wage he’d be earning at Lazio.

An announcement is expected on Friday.

Napoli also went to their Plan B, namely ex-Inter coach Spalletti, who has been out of work and on the Nerazzurri payroll since he was fired in 2019.

Spalletti is expected to sign a two-year contract with option for a third season.
