“I had said straight after the defeat to Celtic that we had to keep believing in our football and what we were doing. Victories bring enthusiasm, so we get the sense of consistency now.
“Ciro Immobile had a great game, as on top of the two goals, he helped out off the ball. We depend a great deal on the work-rate of our forwards, who must be the first line of defence.
“Danilo Cataldi did very well and I had no doubts he would. He has remarkable maturity for one so young and is a lifelong Lazio fan, so he’s always a strong presence pushing everyone on, even when he’s on the bench.”
