Tension is growing at Inter with reports that Robin Gosens will be sold to Bayer Leverkusen and coach Simone Inzaghi begging the club to sign Francesco Acerbi from Lazio.

The Nerazzurri beat Cremonese 3-1 at San Siro this evening, but the mood remains anything but positive with the transfer deadline coming up on Thursday.

Multiple sources this evening including Sky Sport Italia and Sportitalia all claim Bayer Leverkusen have made a firm bid to purchase Gosens and that Inter are ready to accept.

Director Beppe Marotta walked past the media position after the match and his only comment when asked about the Gosens situation was “we will sleep on it.”

Hakan Calhanoglu and Inzaghi both seemed stunned when asked about the Gosens exit, as they did not know anything about the probable transfer.

Coach Inzaghi then hit out at the Inter hierarchy in his press conference after reports President Steven Zhang personally blocked the arrival of Acerbi on loan from Lazio because he doesn’t want to further increase the wage bill.

Asked if he hoped that he Acerbi matter would be reopened, Inzaghi replied “absolutely yes. It’s going to be a tour de force, we need to rotate the squad and injuries can always happen. We must be ready for anything.

“I am genuinely worried, as I have told the club we are missing a defender, there are two days left and I hope to get what I asked for.”

Paris Saint-Germain did not help when coach Christophe Galtier said in a press conference that “anything can happen” with regards to Milan Skriniar.

“I tend not to talk about the players of other teams,” shrugged Inzaghi.

  1. I think Simone has every right to be mad, I meant, he asked for a reinforcement and instead his defensive department is the one who seems to be getting dismantled. And apparently, he wasn’t even informed about that.

What’s with the general lack of communications between coaches/directors/owners?

  2. Chinamen always screw everything up.

They can only mimic or copy what others do, but they can’t create and have zero sense of vision.
    They are essentially human NPCs.
