The Ghanaian has spoken to media in Dubai to look ahead to tomorrow’s friendly with Real Madrid.

“I think it's beautiful to be here,” Muntari has told Dubai Eye 103.8. “It's going to be a great experience and it's going to be important for us.

“It's a shame when a club like Milan doesn't play in the Champions League, but that's part of football.

“We learnt from last year's mistakes and we're working hard to qualify for next year's Champions League. We'll do our best.”

Muntari was asked about Inzaghi, who is experiencing his debut as a Coach this year with the Rossoneri.

“He is passionate, and when you have a Coach with this kind of passion and mentality you can do anything.

“He's been in Milan so long that the club is in his blood now.

“It's nice to have a Coach like that, you just have to look at him and you feel like you can give everything on the pitch.

“I hope we can do something good by the end of the season to make him happy.”

In spite of his optimism going forward, Muntari was displeased about the departure of striker Fernando Torres.

“It's a shame that he's leaving. He was one of the top players, but aside from being a great player he's also a great man.

“We spent an enjoyable six months together, but it's all part of football, changing teams is something normal. I wish him the best of luck and I hope he goes back to being the Torres we all know.”

Finally, the Milan player closed with an opinion on his next opponent Cristiano Ronaldo.

“He is a fantastic player, it's a privilege to be part of his generation and see him play. I think he deserves the Ballon d'Or.”
