Benevento coach Pippo Inzaghi admits he 'feared Parma' ahead of their 0-0 draw. 'We come from Serie B, but we're proving ourselves.'

“I am really happy,” Inzaghi told Sky Sport after the match.
“We had 7-8 important players out of action but I didn’t want any excuse before the game.

“We had 7-8 important players out of action but I didn’t want any excuse before the game.
“It was a game I feared. When I saw Bruno Alves and Hernani I thought their physical strength could have been a problem for us but in the end we didn’t allow a single shot on target.
“We can take satisfactions playing this way, taking all the three points today would have been important."
Benevento have 11 points after 10 Serie A games.
“We received too many criticism after the defeat against Spezia. It can happen to lose two or three games from 45, I didn’t like the fact that my players were criticized, they didn’t deserve it. We had done good things before that game.
“We have played on a par with any opponent so far, we can’t lower the bar.”
