“I think it has been a fantastic 2019, as we won the Coppa Italia and the Supercoppa in the space of five months. We are certainly happy,” Inzaghi told Rai Sport at the Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai.

“We know there will be even more attention on us now, but we are aware that we’re doing great things and want to keep improving all the time. This squad works well every day and we are highly-motivated.
“We’re in a good position right now, but we’ve got to start off 2020 where we left off. I am happy with what we are doing, but in football you must always keep looking forward for how to improve, not rest on your laurels.”
Lazio are currently third in Serie A, but Milan have just signed Zlatan Ibrahimovic in their bid to make up lost ground and capture a Champions League spot.
“I think Ibra can help Milan achieve what they want, as I hear he’s still in very good shape. Knowing how he looks after himself, I am sure he can still make the difference in Serie A,” added Inzaghi.
