Inter coach Simone Inzaghi will be offered a contract extension and according to Il Corriere dello Sport, the Italian tactician will earn €6.5m per season with the new deal.

On Tuesday, Inzaghi met the new Inter owners and will soon reunite with Oaktree representatives and club directors again to sign a new contract with the Nerazzurri.

Inzaghi’s current deal expires in June 2025 and Inter are expected to offer him a new two-year deal.

How much Inzaghi will earn with new Inter contract

According to Corriere dello Sport, it’s still unclear whether it will be a one-year extension with an option for a further campaign or a plain two-year contract.

Surely, Inzaghi will get a slight pay rise, going from €5.5m per season to €6.5m including add-ons.

If this is confirmed, it won’t still be enough to be the highest-paid coach in Serie A, given that Antonio Conte is expected to be the highest earner in 2024-25 with a salary of circa €8m including bonuses at Napoli.

Inzaghi replaced Conte at Inter in 2021 and has won six trophies at the Meazza.
