Simone Inzaghi hopes Inter will keep hold of Milan Skriniar and Denzel Dumfries and according to Il Corriere dello Sport, the Nerazzurri coach made a direct request to President Steven Zhang on Monday.

The Serie A giants need a big-money sale this summer to balance the books. La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that PSG will soon make an improved bid for Skriniar, while Dumfries is a target of Chelsea.

They are two key players for the Nerazzurri who would need to sign a replacement for each if they leave.

With less than a week left before the start of the season, Inzaghi hopes club owners will eventually decide to keep hold of their star duo.

As per Il Corriere dello Sport, the coach met Steven Zhang yesterday, insisting that he wants to keep both players and begging the club’s owner to postpone their sales to the end of the season.

Zhang will have the last word but even if the Nerazzurri manage to sell both Andrea Pinamonti and Cesare Casadei for a decent sum, Zhang could still decide to sell one between Skriniar and Dumfries.
