It’s not clear who will succeed the former Milan coach at the Stadio Diego Maradona, but reports of a return to Serie A for Luciano Spalletti have emerged in multiple newspapers.

Lazio, on the other hand, have not confirmed Inzaghi for 2021-22 and the newspaper reports patron Claudio Lotito has asked for a meeting with Gattuso next week.

Given the relationship between Napoli and Lazio, it’s unthinkable that the Partenopei President Aurelio De Laurentiis doesn’t know about Lotito’s move.

Thus, the newspaper believes the Neapolitan patron has been given the go-ahead to enter talks with Inzaghi.
