For now, Inzaghi is focused on securing a place in Europe with the Aquile and aims for another win in Florence.
“The match in Florence is a very important game,” Inzaghi told Lazio Style Channel. “We will need a great team game, because for us, it’s fundamental for the table.”
The coach confirmed Luiz Felipe returns in defence after over three months out and Wesley Hoedt will be replaced in the squad.
“We are more covered in the centre of the defence,” Inzaghi continued. “I had to make a technical choice.
“I thank Hoedt for the season he has done, he has always trained well and has always been available.”
Preparing for the match against Fiorentina, Inzahi gave Franck Ribery and Dusan Vlahovic extra attention at the press conference.
“We know Fiorentina, they are healthy and come from two consecutive draws with Juventus and Bologna,” Inzaghi added. “They have great quality and experienced players.
“Vlahovic has a great record, he’s especially monitored, like Ribery. They also have excellent midfielders and defenders.
“Iachini knows this division well. We have some defections but recover Luiz Felipe from the injury and [Francesco] Acerbi from the suspension.”
