The Croatia international was instrumental in a successful campaign that saw his team win the Supercoppa Italiana and the Coppa Italia, while they go into the final round only two points off Serie A leaders Milan.
There simply isn’t another player in Simone Inzaghi’s side who shares Brozovic’s characteristics and he was sorely missed when out due to injury.
He has played 47 competitive matches this term, 34 in Serie A, scoring three goals and providing four assists.
The 29-year-old recently put pen to paper on a new contract holding him to Inter until June 2026.
Brozovic first joined the Nerazzurri from Dinamo Zagreb in January 2015 and has become a real Serie A mainstay at San Siro.
