Matteo Darmian and Samir Handanovic were among the best Inter players in their 3-2 win over Napoli, but many other Nerazzurri were up to the task against the Partenopei.

Simone Inzaghi’s side snatched a crucial 3-2 win over Napoli at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, moving four points behind Luciano Spalletti’s men and Milan, who had lost 4-3 against Fiorentina on Saturday.

Inter finally managed to beat a direct competitor for the title after picking up draws against Juventus, Atalanta and Milan, so the race for the Scudetto is now wide open.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport and Il Corriere dello Sport, Matteo Darmian was the MVP of the Meazza clash. He was rated 7.5 by La Gazzetta and 7 by CorSport.

The former Manchester United defender impressed with his work rate and his ability to attack consistently without being exposed defensively.

Many other Inter players obtained high grades from Italian sports papers.

Only Arturo Vidal and Edin Dzeko were slightly more disappointing. They were introduced in the second half and Vidal was rated 5.5 by all three sports papers, while Dzeko got 5 on Gazzetta and Tuttosport and 5.5 on Corriere dello Sport.
