Albania have played Italy only three times in their history and failed to score a single goal, losing 1-0 in a 2014 friendly, then 2-0 and again 1-0 in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.
There are numerous Serie A players in the side, including Roma defender Marash Kumbulla, Torino goalkeeper Etrit Berisha, Elseid Hysaj at Lazio, Nedim Bajrami of Empoli and Ardian Ismajli of Spezia.
Their coach, Edoardo Reja, is also Italian and most famously was at the helm of Lazio and Napoli.
