According to reports on Thursday evening, a club from Saudi Arabia is interested in offering an enormous contract to Lautaro Martinez in an attempt to lure him away from Inter

According to Cesar Luis Merlo of TyC Sports, an unnamed Saudi side are prepared to offer El Toro a four-year deal worth €60m net per season, €240m over the full length of the suggested contract.

As detailed by Calciomercato.com, Martinez currently earns around €6m per season, meaning that the rumoured Saudi offer would increase his annual wage tenfold.

The reports do make it clear that Martinez has not given his approval to the reported interest either way and that Inter have received no formal bid.

Calciomercato reiterate that Martinez is considered to be untouchable by Inter directors and a very important part of Simone Inzaghi’s plans heading into the 2023-24 season. The Italian outlet also claims that Martinez is set on continuing in Europe for the time being.
