Inter vice president Javier Zanetti hopes Sergio Aguero will recover soon and says Brazilian striker Ronaldo was the only player able to ‘change games from one moment to another.’

Aguero suffered a health scare during a La Liga clash against Alaves on October 30. He had to be withdrawn early due to chest pain.

He underwent cardiological tests at the hospital where he was diagnosed with a heart problem. Barcelona revealed the former Manchester City star will remain out of action for at least three months.

“He is unavailable for selection and during the next three months the effectiveness of treatment will be evaluated in order to determine his recovery process,” a club statement read.

“I wish him a speedy recovery, the same thing is happening with many footballers and I hope we can find a solution to make them play peacefully,” his compatriot Zanetti said.

“It’s something we need to study, I send a hug to him and to all the players who have gone through the same.”

Inter are dealing with a similar issue as Christian Eriksen is still out of action after suffering a heart disease during the Euros. However, his case was much more severe as the former Tottenham star collapsed during Denmark-Finland and was given life-saving aid on the pitch.

During an interview with Mastercardlatam, Zanetti also touched on Inter’s Champions League campaign and discussed the best strikers he’s played with.

Inter have won both games against Sheriff and need three points in the next two games to qualify for the last 16 stage.

“It all depends on the next game, if we win we qualify for the following phase and it would be very important for us, every detail can be important in the Champions League,” the former defender said.

The Serie A champions face Shakhtar Donetsk at San Siro on November 24 before visiting Real Madrid in the last group stage game on December 7.

“Ronaldo, ‘The Phenomenon could change games from one moment to another,” Zanetti said, when asked about the best strikers he played with.

“I remember another one who was called ‘lethal weapon’ in Italy, Hernan Crespo, an amazing goal scorer. And also Diego Milito who was decisive when we won the Champions League in 2010.”
