Inter will meet with intermediary Oscar Damiani this week to continue working on Lucien Agoume’s return to France on loan, reports suggest.

The 20-year-old French midfielder spent last season on loan with Brest, where he did well across his 30 appearances in the league and cup. Agoume returned to Milan last month, but he still isn’t ready to be promoted to Simone Inzaghi’s first team, so another loan spell is needed.

As reported by FcInterNews, Inter will meet with intermediary Damiani at some point this week to discuss what the future holds for Agoume following a positive round of talks with the player’s agent Djibril Niang.

Niang is currently negotiating with Ligue 1 sides Lorient and Troyes, the two clubs keenest on picking up the 20-year-old this month. As soon as a choice has been made, Inter will give the green light for Agoume’s departure.

Agoume is contracted to Inter until 2025 and has only made three first team appearances since his arrival from FC Sochaux in July 2019.

  1. Great talent, happy to see that he gets regular playing time this season as well – that`s how you develop youth.
