The quarter-final kicks off on Monday at 20.00 UK time (19.00 GMT) in Dusseldorf.

According to multiple reports, including Sky Sport Italia, Conte aims to practically replicate the line-up used in the 2-0 victory over Getafe.

That would mean Eriksen, who scored within seconds of coming on, would again be on the bench and the 3-5-2 formation left intact with Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez upfront.

Diego Godin remains the favourite in defence, although Milan Skriniar is an option to join Stefan de Vrij and Alessandro Bastoni.

The only other doubt is on the right wing, where Antonio Candreva is challenging Danilo D’Ambrosio for a starting spot.

As for Bayer Leverkusen, they swept Glasgow Rangers aside in the Round of 16, but have at least two players out of action.

That’s because Charles Aranguiz is suspended following a yellow card, while creative midfielder Nadiem Amiri is quarantined after coming into contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19.

Inter (probable): Handanovic; Skriniar, De Vrij, Bastoni; D’Ambrosio, Barella, Brozovic, Gagliardini, Young; Lautaro Martinez, R Lukaku
