Simone Inzaghi’s side may have struggled to be quite as dominant in the Champions League the other night, but the Nerazzurri are looking very impressive in Serie A and will be big favourites to get the better of Sassuolo at the San Siro.
Squad rotation may be key after a busy week of European and domestic football but a convincing win will be expected from Inter – and Davide Frattesi may get even more playing time as he begins to impose himself in the midfield.
Inter should win this one easily and Yann Sommer may also get to celebrate another clean sheet this season, as the home side continue their march towards what would be a 20th Scudetto and a second star.
Sassuolo have found things a little tougher so far this season and the defeat to Frosinone last weekend – after being two goals up – is a good example of the problems the Neroverdi have been facing.
The ongoing uncertainty over the future of Domenico Berardi at the club has to be unsettling for the players and it seems very unlikely that Sassuolo will be able to turn things around so much as to take away three points from this one.
Alessio Dionisi will be pleased that his side have started scoring a few goals, at least, after a slow start to the campaign. But he may not have anything to celebrate here.

It would not be a surprise if Simone Inzaghi continues to give Davide Frattesi more of a role in the Inter midfield, after starting off so well at the club. His biggest question may be who to put up front from the impressive selection of goal-getters at his disposal.
Alessio Dionisi may well be preparing for damage limitation here, as Sassuolo will not be fancied to get anything from this one. Andrea Pinamonti could still get the striker’s role though, after scoring a few goals recently.
