Jose Mourinho will be missing from the sideline for this one and these Inter vs. Roma predictions suggest that his players will struggle at San Siro.

Inter vs. Roma odds

1 – Inter to win – 3/5

2 – Over 2.5 goals scored – 19/20

3 – Both teams not to score – 4/5

4 – Marcus Thuram to score anytime – 15/8

5 – Inter to win to nil – 13/8

Inter are flying high at the moment. The Nerazzurri are top of the league after losing just one game all season, as well as being able to celebrate a 5-1 thrashing of Milan along the way. The visit of Roma will not be of too much concern for Simone Inzaghi and his players.

Inter continued their fine Champions League form in the week and will now be set on keeping their place at the summit of Serie A. With so many attacking options, Inzaghi is spoilt for choice but could start with Marcus Thuram after Alexis Sánchez took the field against Salzburg.

That could allow Thuram to score another important goal. The French striker has played in the shadow of Lautaro Martinez this season but is perfectly possible of finding the net at some point at the weekend.

Roma will not have Jose Mourinho barking orders on the sideline on Sunday after he received a one-match ban for his antics at the end of the game against Monza. The Giallorossi scored a late winner and the Portuguese coach was sent off for mocking his counterpart.

There is still a very long injury list at the Stadio Olimpico as well, and it looks as though this game will come to soon for the return of Paulo Dybala. Romelu Lukaku would love to score against his old club though.

But this could end up being a difficult afternoon for the visitors. Inter have looked very impressive this season and are due another big win. With Roma dealing with injuries and suspensions, it could be an unhappy return to San Siro for Mourinho.

Inter team news

Simone Inzaghi has no fresh injury worries after the midweek Champions League match but could still play around with his starting XI to rest some weary legs. Marcus Thuram could come in up front, while Nicolò Barella may return to the midfield in place of Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Roma team news

Jose Mourinho will be hoping he will have no further injuries to deal with after the midweek Europa League tie. But he may still have to start with Bryan Cristante at the back after Evan Ndicka limped off against Monza. Stephen El Shaarawry may get a chance up front though, after his late winner in that game last weekend.
