According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter and Napoli are interested in signing Everton defender Lucas Digne, while Leicester City monitor Matias Vecino.

Both Inter and Napoli are on the lookout for a new left-back in the January transfer window.

The former Roma man is not on good terms with Rafa Benitez and wants to leave Goodison Park in January. Therefore, he is an option for both Serie A clubs.

Everton want to sell Digne on a permanent deal and value the defender at €25m. On the other hand, Inter and Napoli want to sign the player on loan with an option to buy.

According to the report, the player’s agents are open to such a scenario, mainly because Digne’s contract in the blue side of Liverpool ends in 2025.

Digne is one of the candidates to replace Ivan Perisic at Inter, with the Croat who sees his contract expire at the end of the season.

The same is true of Matias Vecino, but Inter could decide to sell the Uruguay international for a low fee in January.

Leicester City are one of the Premier League clubs interested in securing his services in the winter transfer window.

2 thought on “Inter vs. Napoli for unhappy Digne, Leicester City want Vecino?”
  1. Inter are not interested in Digne, it was Digne who was offered to the club.

Inter have clear targets: Kostic will be replacing Perisic in summer.

    Capito?
