There are a lot of transfer dealings still to be made but these Inter vs. Monza predictions suggest that the Nerazzurri will carry on where they left off last season.
Inter vs. Monza odds
1 – Inter to win – 4/11
2 – Under 3 goals scored – 13/8
3 – Both teams not to score – 3/4
4 – Lautaro Martínez to score at anytime – 8/11
5 – Inter to win 2-0 – 6/1
As usual, the offseason has been a busy one at Inter. There is always lots of rumours and speculation surrounding who is going to arrive or leave the San Siro. But Simone Inzaghi and the fans should be pretty happy with the way the summer has gone so far.
With a season opener at home against Monza, the Nerazzurri look set to compete for the Scudetto once again and challenge in Europe after their run to the Champions League final last term. A home win will not be guaranteed here – but Inter should be able to claim all three points on Saturday evening.
With Davide Frattesi, Juan Cuadrado and Marcus Thuram among the arrivals, Inter look to have strengthened their squad without losing their top players. Romelu Lukaku may not be returning this year but Inter look to have a more attacking side now, if anything.
Raffaele Palladino will be hoping that his Monza side can continue their incredible form from last season. The Biancorossi exceeded all expectations last year, almost claiming a European spot in the end. Another mid-table finish will make the fans and everyone at Monza more than happy.
Kicking off the new Serie A season with a trip to the San Siro to face Inter is not the easiest start though. Monza actually took four points off of Simone Inzaghi’s side last season but may struggle to find the form that surprised so many in 2022-23.
There have been some new arrivals at the club over the summer but it could be that the club bankrolled by the Berlusconi family struggles to keep up with the bigger clubs in Serie A in their second-ever top flight campaign

Inter team news
Simone Inzaghi should go with Yann Sommer as André Onana’s replacement in goal but keep the rest of his starting XI fairly familiar. Marcus Thuram could be the one that gets a chance up front – and he will be keen to show the Inter fans just what the club have bought as he makes his Serie A debut.
Monza team news
Monza have already been knocked out of the Coppa Italia by Serie B side Reggiana, but Raffaele Palladino will always have been looking to concentrate on the league this season. Danilo D’Ambrosio could face his old club after ten years at the San Siro, while Andrea Petagna may have to make do with a place on the bench after Andrea Colpani and Dany Mota’s form up front in pre-season.
