We’ve just witnessed the most spectacular first half in a derby d’Italia as Inter and Juventus scored five goals for the first time ever.

It’s been a rollercoaster of emotions at San Siro this evening as Inter were 3-2 up at the break against Juventus.

The Nerazzurri took the lead with a Piotr Zielinski penalty, but Juventus bounced back quickly with Dusan Vlahovic and Timothy Weah. The Nerazzurri equaliser with Henrikh Mkhitaryan and regained the lead with another Zielinski spot kick.

Inter vs Juventus: a never-seen first half in Derby d’Italia

As reported by Opta, it was the first time Inter and Juventus had scored five goals in the first half of a derby d’Italia.
