Inter need three points against FC Sheriff Tiraspol at San Siro and Simone Inzaghi seems set to start with Lautaro Martinez and Edin Dzeko up front on Tuesday.

Sheriff arrive in the fashion capital with six points from the first two games and Inzaghi stressed the match will be ‘fundamental’ for the path in Europe.

Milan Skriniar, who is expected to start in defence, wants a clean sheet after conceding in seven Serie A games on the bounce.

Matteo Darmian and Denzel Dumfries are fighting for a place at right, while Matias Vecino and Arturo Vidal are battling for a place in the middle.

Lautaro Martinez and Edin Dzeko should start up front for the Nerazzurri, while Sheriff have to key players absent for the trip to Milan.

Goalkeeper Giorgos Athanasiadis from Greece must be replaced by Dumitru Celeadnic, while Uzbek Jasurbek Yaxshiboyev will be missed in attack at San Siro.
