The Nerazzurri look to protect their position atop the Serie A table – and look good to do so according to these Inter vs. Bologna predictions. But Thiago Motta’s side have impressed this season and are unbeaten in their last six games.
1 – Inter to win –21/50
2 – Inter to score over 1.5 goals – 1/2
3 – Lautaro Martinez to score– 11/10
4 – A draw at full-time – 4/1
5 – Under 2.5 goals scored – 4/3
Bologna hope to keep their unbeaten run going, as they travel to league leaders Inter on Saturday afternoon. The Rossoblu’s only defeat of their Serie A campaign so far came at the hands of their weekend opponents’ cross-town rivals Milan, on match day one.
Despite an impressive early season performance, the odds are not in favour of Thiago Motta’s side this weekend. Hosts Inter have also lost just once this season but, unlike the visitors, they have won all of their six other games.
Bologna have been Inter’s bogey team in recent years though, beating them at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara in each of the last three seasons. However, the Nerazzurri have been equally dominant at the San Siro and we back the hosts to secure all three points on Saturday.
Despite losing Romelu Lukaku in the summer, Simone Inzaghi’s side’s front line has been particularly impressive this season and are leading the goal-scoring chart. Inter put four past Salernitana last weekend but relied heavily on the introduction of Lautaro Martinez to score all of their goals within just 30 minutes. A wager on the hosts to score over 1.5 goals and for the Argentine to get on the goal sheet should pay off, even if he starts the match on the bench.
While Bologna go into the match as underdogs, they should not be underestimated. The Rossoblu have impressed defensively this season, and have four consecutive clean sheets. Thiago Motta’s side’s defensive acumen has secured draws against Napoli and Juventus already this season.
With the host’s front line potentially fatigued following midweek Champions League action, the visitors could well be in for another dominant defensive display on Saturday. As a result, a wager on a low-scoring match, ending in another draw, may provide a return.

Bologna (4-2-3-1): Skorupski; Corazza, Beukema, Calafiore, Kristiansen; Moro, Freuler, Orsolini, Ferguson, Ndoye; Zikzrr
Juan Cuadrado remains sidelined through injury, meaning Denzel Dumfries will start on the right flank, while Davide Frattesi and Stefano Sesnsi will be missing from midfield. Simone Inzaghi will have a decision to make whether to bring Alessandro Bastoni back into the starting XI or keep with Francesco Acerbi.
Few changes are expected from Thiago Motta following a dominant display against Empoli. Alexis Saelemaekers is available for selection once again and may slot into the left wing position, while Adama Soumaoro, Stefan Posch, and Jhon Lucumi are all out injured.
