Inter have officially loaned Zinho Vanheusden to AZ Alkmaar, while Matias Vecino edges closer to Lazio, but Alexis Sanchez remains a problem.

The Nerazzurri are trying to whittle down their squad from players who are not in coach Simone Inzaghi’s plans for this season.

Defender Vanheusden just completed a loan spell at Genoa and is now back out on another one-season experience in the Netherlands with AZ Alkmaar, although they also have an option to buy.

The Belgian defender turns 23 later this week and has been in the Inter youth academy since 2015, but his career stalled due to repeated injuries.

Meanwhile, La Repubblica report that Lazio are very close to signing midfielder Vecino for a minimal fee, reuniting with Maurizio Sarri after their time together at Empoli.

Alexis Sanchez is still holding out for €4m to terminate his contract by mutual consent a year early, causing problems and blocking any potential incoming strikers to San Siro.

  1. Why not keep Sanchez with pay cut? He is good striker. But, of course he wants too much money. Please, leave. 😛

  2. @interfan75 – what are you on about, go away yourself, go on sanchez your well within your rights to ask for the 4m termination.

Hopefully you stay with inter and help them financially

  3. @interfan75 Alexis resigned A LOT of money going to Inter. Terminating his contract giving him only 4m looks like something fair since he earns 7m a year. He arrived for free because MU was drowning with the huge numbers his transfer brought. He has every right to ask for that money or even more, just like Ramsey

  4. It wasn’t said by Marotta but it was pretty obvious that Inter couldn’t get Dybala while Sanchez was still at the club holding them ransom. These Italian clubs never learn their lesson with these mercenary freebies though, they just keep repeating the same over and over.
