According to Sky Sport Italia, Inter President Steven Zhang has given his green light for Francesco Acerbi’s loan move from Lazio.

The Italy international is not in Maurizio Sarri’s plans and the Nerazzurri have been pushing to secure his services for several weeks.

Steven Zhang had blocked the potential deal last week to avoid increasing the club’s wage bill. However, with Lucien Agoumé set to join Ligue 1 side, Troyes, on a dry loan deal, the Nerazzurri have made room for the Italy international.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Acerbi’s move to Inter is a done deal.

Acerbi will join Inter on loan with an option to buy and his salary paid by the Nerazzurri. Steven Zhang has given his final green light, the report claims.

Simone Inzaghi has been pushing for the signing of a new centre-back to replace Andrea Ranocchia who has joined Monza on a free transfer.

Inter earned nine points in the opening four Serie A games and face Milan in the derby della Madonnina next weekend.

  1. Great, now if we get to get the best out of Gosens this team will be good enough to win Cthe calcio and reach the last 8 in the CL!

  2. Conte would publically cry about top players or even champions who are past their prime but Inzaghi is crying for Inter to get Acerbi to sit on the bench like Caisedo do.
