After the ban of their 30,000 whistles, Inter ultras have come up with a new plan to disturb Romelu Lukaku during Roma’s visit to San Siro.

The Nerazzurri faithful initially intended to hand out 30,000 plastic whistles to supporters outside the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza ahead of the evening clash to use against the 30-year-old striker any time he touched the ball.

Local security authorities put a stop to the idea and have drawn up measures to counter it, threatening fines of €100-500 and making sure any found outside the ground during searches will be thrown away. The ultras decided to distribute the whistles regardless.

As reported by Tuttosport via TMW, the Inter ultras have not fully conceded and have drawn up a new plan to whistle Lukaku, sharing around a mobile phone app that plays a loud whistle sound.

Regardless of the ban on plastic whistles, it’s clear that the Roma striker will receive an incredibly cold and tense ‘welcome’ from the Nerazzurri fans, who won’t quickly forget the events of the summer.
