The tension is sky high after the publication of his autobiography, which included a chapter covering his row with fans in February 2015 following the final whistle of a 3-1 defeat to Sassuolo.

The tension is sky high after the publication of his autobiography, which included a chapter covering his row with fans in February 2015 following the final whistle of a 3-1 defeat to Sassuolo.
Curva Nord representatives accused him of lying about elements of the story, but on Instagram he confirmed telling someone at the club he’d threaten to “call 100 criminals from Argentina to kill them where they stand” if someone tried to attack him.
Now the situation is getting out of control, as a banner appeared hung up outside his home reading: ‘We’re here… When your Argentine friends arrive, will you warn us or do it like a coward?’
Local TV station 7Gold also reports that around 40 ultras tried to attack Icardi’s car when he arrived home after today’s 2-1 home defeat to Cagliari.
According to the eye-witness, a pundit who lives in the same building, they only left when the security guard – complete with gun in his holster – walked out to accompany Icardi.
“Nothing happened when we got home,” Icardi’s wife Wanda Nara told FCInter1908.it. “We got back into the house without any problems.”
Inter have already announced they will speak to Icardi tomorrow and consider revoking his status as captain.
