Inter's offer of €9m for Atletico Madrid midfielder Mario Suarez is reportedly rejected, as Enrique Cerezo warns them off.
The Nerazzurri's interest in the 27-year-old had been registered by the player's agent several days ago, and the Gazzetta dello Sport confirmed that an offer has been made for €9m spread over two years.
However, Sky Sport Italia are reporting the response as being unenthusiastic, with the Colchoneros thinking of Suarez as too important a player to their game to let him go now.
Atletico President Enrique Cerezo, meanwhile, has restated this case in an interview to Marca, reported by Gianluca Di Marzio.
“As far as I know Mario Suarez will be staying,” the club President commented.
“He is an important player for us, I don't think we'll be operating sales because the Coach rests on all of the available players until the end of the season.
“That's why I'm saying that we're not taking into consideration the idea of dropping someone.”
