Inter transfers: Brozovic ultimatum to Barcelona, Man Utd’s Onana decision

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Marcelo Brozovic has already spoken to Barcelona coach Xavi but won’t wait long for the Catalans, while Manchester United are determined to pay €50m plus add-ons for André Onana.

The Nerazzurri must sell some of their stars to raise money for new signings. They have an agreement with Al-Nassr for Brozovic, but the Croatia international has demanded a €30m-a-year deal until 2025.

Barcelona are also interested and according to Thursday’s printed edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (page 10), the 30-year-old has already spoken to Xavi. The La Liga giants are ready to offer a three-year deal with a rising salary but have not shaken hands with Inter.

According to the pink paper, Brozovic is in a hurry to decide his future and is pushing for Barcelona to reach an agreement with Inter within a week.

Given his latest Instagram post, it wouldn’t be surprising if the 30-year-old ends up staying at the Stadio Meazza.

If Brozo doesn’t leave, Inter won’t have the money to sign Davide Frattesi from Sassuolo. Inter plan to sell Robin Gosens as well but are yet to receive offers from Union Berlin, Wolfsburg and some Premier League clubs interested, reports Gazzetta.

Meantime, talks between the Nerazzurri and Man Utd for Onana continue. According to Gazzetta, a new meeting between the two clubs will take place tomorrow. Inter have rejected an opening offer from the Red Devils, but Gazzetta claims United have decided to pay €50m plus add-ons to sign the Cameroon international.

All Italian sports papers confirm on Thursday that Shakhtar Donetsk goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin is Inter’s latest target to replace Onana.

According to Tuttosport (page 14), Samir Handanovic could extend his expiring contract with Inter if they sign Trubin.
