Inter expect to receive a new offer from Paris Saint-Germain for Milan Skriniar early next week, according to reports in Italy.

The Slovakia central defender has become a principle target for the French champions, having reportedly had previous bids rejected earlier in the transfer window.

And Gazzetta dello Sport report they will come back with a fifth and final offer – with Inter looking for a straight deal for no less than €70 million.

Bids of €50m, €50m plus a player, €60m and €60m plus Julian Draxler have so far been turned down by Inter, the report adds, and the club expect the next offer to be final.

It adds that Inter have even lowered their initial asking price from €80m to €70m.

Meanwhile, Skriniar has also agreed personal terms with PSG, the report claims, and would earn €7.7m per year should the deal go through.

At PSG, the 27-year-old would find former Inter team-mate Achraf Hakimi, who joined from the Nerazzurri last summer.

  1. he aint worth 70m euros due to his age – 2 yrs ago – yes but not at age 30yrs old, he’s a top defender, best in serie a last 2 yrs

  2. Sell. While he is their best, he is replaceable and this is the optimal time to maximize a return (his age + his performance). Wait any longer and he’ll be the next De Vrij. Inter could have cashed in on him last year now he no longer is of primary interest and his value has dropped exponentially. Hold onto Bastoni. Sell De Vrij. And if offered 70M or so, cash in on Skriniar and replace (with Bremmer).
