According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham are interested in Inter defender Milan Skriniar, but the Nerazzurri are confident of extending his contract expiring in 2023.

The Slovakia international has been one of the best defenders in Serie A over the last few seasons, attracting interest from many clubs around Europe. La Gazzetta dello Sport reports Chelsea, United and Tottenham are monitoring the former Sampdoria star, but Skriniar is happy at the club and Inter are already preparing a contract extension offer.

Skriniar is on a €3.5m-a-year deal and Inter could offer him a new €4.5m-a-year contract, including add-ons, until 2027.

According to the report, the Serie A are in a hurry to extend with the 27-year-old, who is seen as a potential replacement for Antonio Rudiger at Chelsea. Tottenham boss Antonio Conte is also an admirer of the Slovakia defender, who he coached for two seasons at the Stadio Meazza.

Stefan de Vrij also sees his contract expire in 2023, and the Nerazzurri could decide to sacrifice him instead of Skriniar, one of the best defenders in Serie A and one of the leaders of Inter’s dressing room.

  1. @Dennis Skriniar is way better than Bastoni, who is so and so IMO. Skriniar needs to be the stepping stone of that defense since De Vrij is going anyway. Bastoni won’t be sold

  2. Skriniar is the best defender at inter
And I think he should be the next captain instead of barella or Brozovic
Brozovic complains too much about his team mates, captain should encourage instead right
