Inter are reportedly in disagreement over whether to sign Ramires from sister club Jiangsu Suning and could miss out on Stefan de Vrij.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Ramires is eager to return to Europe and represents “the No 1 objective” for Inter boss Luciano Spalletti.

However, the newspaper claims Suning Group, owners of both Inter and Jiangsu, is unwilling to sanction a dry loan, out of fear that it could attract the wrath of UEFA.

Nonetheless, a loan with an option to buy could be negotiated, using the proceeds they received from Philippe Coutinho’s transfer to Barcelona.

On the other hand, Gazzetta warns Suning has “slowed down negotiations” for De Vrij, despite “the basis of a four-year contract having already been agreed.”

It comes less than a day after the Nerazzurri were reported to be leading the race for the Lazio defender.
