Inter will have an important transfer market strategy meeting next week and Felipe Caicedo’s name will be mentioned as they consider signing a new forward.

The Nerazzurri are seriously considering signing a short-term reinforcement for coach Simone Inzaghi following the one-month injury to Argentinian forward Joaquin Correa. The Italian coach is a fan of Caicedo, knowing him well from their time together at Lazio, and so he’d be delighted to work with him again in the Lombardy capital.

As reported by Alfredo Pedulla, whilst Caicedo is a genuine possibility for Inter, Torino’s Simone Zaza is not, as the Nerazzurri have no plans to acquire the Italian forward.

The Milanese club will also discuss the Stefano Sensi situation; Sampdoria are waiting to sign the midfielder on loan and the player himself wants to make the move, but the club are hesitant. If he were to leave, Lazio target Matias Vecino would remain.

Inter are also not reportedly planning moves for Eintracht Frankfurt’s Filip Kostic or Sampdoria’s Morten Thorsby.
