Inter are set to announce three new signings and Simone Inzaghi’s contract extension while talks for Romelu Lukaku’s return are ongoing.

The Nerazzurri are the busiest Serie A club at the moment. Their most prominent negotiation could see Lukaku return to the club on loan one year after his €113m move from Chelsea.

However, Beppe Marotta has already completed three signings which should be announced this week.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan and André Onana are set to join the Serie A giants for free. “Mkhitaryan will be official in the next few days, the same goes for Onana,” the Inter director confirmed on Monday.

The former Ajax goalkeeper underwent his medical with the Nerazzurri in January, while the ex-Roma, Arsenal and Manchester United midfielder is expected to have his medical examination with Inter on Wednesday.

Raoul Bellanova will move to the Stadio Meazza on loan with an obligation to buy from Cagliari and according to multiple reports, Inter will announce Simone Inzaghi’s contract extension today.

The Italian tactician signed a two-year deal with Inter last summer and will extend his stay at the club until 2024. Inter failed to retain the Serie A title last season but won the Coppa Italia and the Supercoppa.

  1. Truth is, Inter need to announce some departures first…

Vecino and Ranocchia leaving is clear, but Vidal and Sanchez are among the higly expected ones

  2. Vecino and Ranocchia don’t need to be announced – they are out of contract. Vidal and Sanchez are under contract and command huge wages. Good luck too offloading them
