Inter will announce Simone Inzaghi today, but the new coach will be unveiled next month, reports La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Inzaghi has signed a two-year deal with the Serie A champions that saw Antonio Conte leave in May after winning the Scudetto.

Inzaghi arrived in Milan this morning and will meet Steven Zhang at Appiano Gentile today.  The club will then confirm his appointment with an official statement.

Inzaghi and Zhang will discuss the club’s strategies for the future.

Achraf Hakimi is expected to leave the club, although the Nerazzurri want €80m to sell the former Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund winger.

Both PSG and Bayern Munich have been linked with securing his services, but they haven’t met the Inter’s economic demands yet.

The Serie A giants want to sell only one top player to keep the books in order and keep the team competitive, but the future of Ivan Perisic and Marcelo Brozovic is also in doubt.

Both players will see their contract expire in 2022, therefore their future appears to be up in the air.

Inzaghi will rely on Romelu Lukaku, who claimed he wants to stay at Inter, adding that he had had a positive conversation with Inter’s new coach, who will be unveiled in July.
