There are reports that Inter could target Joel Campbell of Arsenal or Liverpool’s Fabio Borini as an alternative to Alessio Cerci.

Inter have been repeatedly linked with a move for Cerci, and the former Torino man is believed to be Coach Roberto Mancini’s preferred target.

However, Sky believes that the Atletico Madrid player would be beyond the Nerazzurri’s means, and therefore the club could turn to Campbell or Borini.

Borini is out of favour at Liverpool, failing to even be named on the bench for Brendan Rodgers’ side for Tuesday’s Champions League game, despite Ricky Lambert being the club’s only other fit striker.

Similarly, Joel Campbell has struggled to make an impact at Arsenal after impressing in the World Cup, playing just 38 minutes in three substitute appearances.
