Inter have reportedly suspended Daniel Osvaldo after he refused to attend training for two days.

The striker has been frozen out of the squad ever since attempting to physically attack teammate Mauro Icardi during their game against Juventus on January 6.

Osvaldo was dropped by Coach Roberto Mancini, but only in an unofficial capacity.

This evening Sky Sport Italia claim the club has gone a step further and formally suspended Osvaldo as punishment for going AWOL.

He was not spotted at training for the last two days and it seems he did not alert Inter or teammates as to his whereabouts.

Osvaldo is only midway through a season-long loan from Southampton and desperate for a move elsewhere during the January window.

However, he has turned down offers from QPR, Cagliari and Genoa, reportedly waiting for a bid from Milan.

Osvaldo recently turned 29 and signed for Southampton in August 2013 for €15.1m (£12.8m), but has since run into disciplinary problems and been loaned out to Juventus and now Inter.
