Inter striker Joaquin Correa is a doubt for the Champions League Final against Manchester City following a muscle injury.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports Correa suffered an injury to the soleus muscle of his right leg during the Coppa Italia Final against Fiorentina on Wednesday. Although the ex-Lazio striker has already begun treatment, he is in ‘strong’ doubt for the Champions League Final against Manchester City on June 10.

The 28-year-old hasn’t been particularly lucky with injuries this season as he was dropped from Argentina’s World Cup squad the day before the beginning of the tournament because of a physical problem. His compatriots went on to lift the trophy after an epic Final against France.

Correa’s injury means Simone Inzaghi won’t be able to rotate much in attack in the last two Serie A games of the season. Correa started eight of the last nine league matches alongside Romelu Lukaku so Lautaro Martinez and Edin Dzeko could rest for Champions League and Coppa Italia games.

Correa has scored four goals in 41 appearances across all competitions this season.
