Inter are reportedly close to Cardiff City’s latest asking price for Gary Medel, but there remains delays to completing the deal.
The Nerazzurri’s Piero Ausilio has been in the UK this week finalising terms of agreement with the Welsh club for the Chile international’s services.
Whilst it is believed that Inter already have a four-or-five-year contract agreement in place with Medel, to pay €1.8m per season, valuation and payment method is still believed to be holding up the transfer.

Cardiff are apparently still pressing for €8.5m as an immediate payment for the 26-year-old, whereas Inter are seen as offering €1m to begin with, followed by payments of €3m and €3.5m in successive years, amounting to €7.5m total spend.
Sky Sport Italia believe that the hope is talks over the move will be resolved by the coming weekend.
