Reports in France suggest Inter are ready to intensify their negotiations with AS Monaco to sign Keita Balde Diao.
The forward knows coach Simone Inzaghi very well, having worked with him at Lazio.
The 26-year-old is also no stranger to Inter, as he played there on loan from Monaco in 2018-19.
Keita spent last season on loan at Sampdoria, where he scored seven goals and provided two assists in 25 Serie A appearances.
According to FootMercato in France, Inter are stepping up talks with Monaco to make this a permanent transfer and a deal should not be too difficult to achieve.
Monaco signed Keita Balde Diao from Lazio for €30m in the summer of 2017.
During his 41 Lazio games under Inzaghi, the forward scored 18 goals.
His versatility is also a valuable element for Inter on the transfer market, because he can play on the left, the right or as a support striker, allowing him to work with any of the other forwards in the Nerazzurri squad.
