Inter do not confirm a West Ham bid for their talent Valentin Carboni but are unwilling to sell the 18-year-old starlet for just €11m.

Carboni is currently out on loan at Monza, where he has scored two goals and delivered three assists in 14 Serie A games this term.

Reports in Italy and Argentina claim West Ham have made an opening €11m offer to sign the talented Argentinean attacking midfielder in January, but Inter sources quoted by Calciomercato.com deny they ever received such an offer.

According to the report, sources have added that no asking price has been set for the 18-year-old, but surely any interested club would need to pay more than €20m.

Carboni will return to Inter at the end of the season as Monza do not have an option to make his move permanent. Tuttosport reported earlier this week that Inter had made an attempt to bring Carboni back to the club in January, but Monza decided to keep him at the club.

Caboni has made six appearances with Inter’s senior team, and his contract with the Nerazzurri runs out in June 2028.
