Beppe Marotta

Inter are reportedly close to confirming CEO Beppe Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio, who should sign new deals until 2024.

Changes are expected at the Giuseppe Meazza this summer, as coach Antonio Conte left the position after securing the club’s first Scudetto in 11 years.

President Steven Zhang is looking to cut costs in 2021-22, but Marotta and Ausilio are set to be at the centre of the Nerazzurri project.

Tuttosport reports the two directors are close to renewing with the Beneamata and stay until 2024.

The patron will still rely on their fundamental contributions in the transfer market this summer.

Marotta left Juventus after over eight years in October 2018 and signed with their rivals Inter in December the same year.

Ausilio started working for the Nerazzurri as Academy Manager in July 2005 and was promoted as manager of the first team in December 2010.

The 46-year-old became the sporting director in February 2014 and the new deal until 2024 will bring his stay closer to 20 years at Pinetina.
