Inter are keeping a close eye on Tomas Soucek and are considering pouncing when his contract expires with West Ham next summer, reports detail.

The Nerazzurri picked up a number of reinforcements in the summer transfer window, adding players like Davide Frattesi, Marcus Thuram and Benjamin Pavard to Simone Inzaghi’s squad.

Inter have looked strong in the early stages of this season but wobbles against Sassuolo and Bologna have proved concerning as the team look to break a two-year wait for the Scudetto.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport via TMW, Inter are planning ahead for next summer and believe Soucek could be a great addition to the squad once his contract expires with West Ham.

The 28-year-old’s current deal in East London draws to a close in June 2024 and he could be the perfect addition to Inzaghi’s squad, adding some much-needed physicality and height to the Nerazzurri midfield.

It’s still unclear if Soucek will pen a new deal with West Ham or not. Rumours suggest that he’s secretly signed a new four-year deal, but this has not been confirmed and things have fallen quiet.
