Inter seem to have chosen their goalkeeper for next season, Brazil international Bento Matheus Krepski, but still need to agree terms with Athletico Paranaense.

According to multiple sources, the 24-year-old has given the all-clear for a summer swoop, despite being under contract until December 2026.

Bento has been on their radar for some time with director Dario Baccin personally visiting Brazil, and the goalkeeper is eager to take the next step in his career in Italy.

Tuttosport point out the problem is that Atletico Paranaense have a release clause worth €60m and are asking for at least €15m to sell him this summer.

They could reduce that figure by including a cut of any future transfer fee.

He made his senior international debut in the 1-0 friendly victory over England at Wembley Stadium this week.

Inter only purchased Yann Sommer this season from Bayern Munich for €6.75m, but he is 35 years old and the plan is to give Bento a year as second choice in order to give him time to adapt.
