Inter are aware of Liverpool’s concrete interest in Nicolo Barella and whilst they don’t want to sell the Italian star, the right offer could reportedly change things.

Recent reports have detailed the Reds’ interest in the 26-year-old and coach Jurgen Klopp’s appreciation of the Euro 2020 winner is no secret, noting that the Nerazzurri man is ‘not just any player’ and that ‘it would be nice to have him’.

Liverpool are preparing for an exciting summer transfer window, aware that serious investment is needed to help them return to the upper echelons of English football after a difficult Premier League campaign.

As reported by Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Inter have no intention of selling Barella in the summer and want to keep the 26-year-old for the foreseeable future, but their financial situation means no player is truly unsellable at the club.

The Nerazzurri would want around €70-75m for the former Cagliari midfielder, putting the ball in Liverpool’s court ahead of the summer transfer window. The Premier League side are also interested in Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham and Brighton’s Moises Caicedo.
